UV rays break down collagen. Even the best sunblock doesn’t keep out all of the damaging UV rays.
Keep your skin looking young with Vitamin C Vitality Facial Serum! It is packed with antioxidants targeted to protect your collagen. Collagen is key to protecting your skin from signs of aging, lines and wrinkles (don’t forget to put it on your hands too). The vitamin C formula improves the tone and texture of the skin as well.
For added benefits you can try Collagen Booster capsules for health from the inside – out.
This formula is designed to encourage collagen production.
Have you ever tried Herbal Savvy?
It is one of my favorite skin care items.
Not only does it contain Aloe Vera, but it also has Calendula in it.
Calendula has been researched for years & is well-known for its healing properties.
Research shows that it works to prevent bacterial infections & has anti-inflammatory properties.
Calendula simply comes from the bright orange petals of the Calendula flower.
The brighter the orange, the more concentrated the Calendula.

They are everywhere!
Pesky little blood suckers!
MOSQUITOES, MOSQUITOES, and more MOSQUITOES!!!
Mosquitoes love my son’s fair skin.
Note to self….Buy Peppermint Oil
Add 6 drops of Peppermint Oil to 8oz of water and mist over the body. Simple solution to a buggy problem, right?!
It’s worth a shot to me because studies have shown this solution to work as well as DEET. Mmmmmm…Yucky chemical smell on already sensitive skin or a light fresh peppermint scent? Peppermint Oil for sure!
Let’s get the summer started!
Feeling brain fog? Try inhaling the scent of peppermint to instantly energize and wake up your mind!
Suffering From A Headache or Migraine?
Studies have proven that simply smelling peppermint oil can help ease off that throbbing headache. If your muscles are tense in your neck from a migraine, try massaging the oil into the skin for soothing relief.
Stress = Breakouts!
Well it does for me anyway! I don’t know why, but if I’m under more stress than usual, I have break outs & I’m 34 years old (way past the acne stage of teens!) I have tried every kind of make up under the sun and none of it controls my skin’s oil. After a couple of hours of wear it looks like I need to wash up and start over.
Okay, here’s the thing….I have recently discovered that peppermint oil has astringent qualities in it to help control oil! Sweet!!!! It is soothing to the skin & actually helps to balance out skin tones (oily, dry & combination). Dab some on a cotton ball and hit my oily spots before throwing on the makeup. Plus by me putting it on my face I get the benefits of it waking me up & energizing my mind!
Caution: Do not use during pregnancy or on children under 2; can irritate skin.
For all of you out there that love to soak in warm baths & relax (and may I say, good for you – you totally deserve it!) How about trying a minty bath salt?
2 cups of Epsom salt
2 handfuls of loose mint tea
Place them both in a jar with lid. Next time you want a refreshing soak just throw a scoop of minty salt in your bath and relax for at least 10 minutes (longer is totally better!!!)

Cellulite. A battle for many women. Scott-Vincent Borba, author of Skintervention: The Personalized Solution for Healthier, Younger, and Flawless Looking Skin, has some words of wisdom that every woman needs to hear. So listen up ladies! If you want your skin looking more tone & plump instead of dimply, simply mix up :
1 Tablespoon of unflavored powdered gelatin
1 Tablespoon of water
2 drops of olive oil
Mix together & rub a pearl size amount of the mixture into your palms & apply to your cellulite-prone areas.
*The gelatin is packed with collagen which makes your skin look more toned. As a daily dose of collagen, you can take Collagen Booster, found in Herbs & More.
**As a bonus feature – the olive oil in the mixture plumps skin cells to make your skin look smoother and softer!
