Help With Cold Sores

No one likes them, but the fact is  -this time of the year(with the added stress of the holidays) can bring on Cold Sores.  A natural way to prevent cold sores is taking the amino acid lysine.

The lysine hinders activity of arginine, which is a chemical that fuels the herpes virus that causes a cold sore break out.  Take 500 mg a day for prevention and double the dosage if you feel an impending outbreak.

Coconut Oil is one of Dr. Oz’s Top 3 Picks for all natural products that work very well as Lip Moisturizers.  It smells great & feels good on the lips!  Another nice thing about Coconut Oil is that it is a solid at room temperature, but easily “melts” into your skin when you apply it.
